Young Cardinal Tattoo is a female-founded, independently owned studio with over a decade of experience creating custom tattoos in Derbyshire

Now home to two artists with a shared vision, the studio has entered a new chapter in a beautiful waterside setting. Our space has been designed to feel calm, comfortable and personal, giving every client the time, privacy and attention they deserve.

We specialise in custom tattooing, from black and grey realism and fine line work to ornamental, botanical, illustrative, geometric and blackwork. Every piece is individually designed around the person wearing it.

Young Cardinal is a private, appointment-only studio. We don’t accept walk-ins, allowing us to keep the space peaceful and give our full attention to the clients booked with us that day.

Exceptional client care, high standards of hygiene and beautiful, considered tattooing have always been at the heart of Young Cardinal.

Young Cardinal is home to Charlotte and Holli, two independent tattoo artists brought together by friendship, a shared approach to tattooing and a love of creating work that feels personal to each client.

We each bring our own style and personality to the studio, but share the same values: beautiful custom work, a relaxed atmosphere and making sure every person who walks through the door feels comfortable and looked after.

After years of working alongside one another, this new chapter of Young Cardinal is deliberately smaller and more personal — just two artists, one private studio and a shared vision for what we want the tattoo experience to be.
